Many of these genetic factors influence embryonic facial development
Date: August 19, 2021
Source: PLOS
Summary: A new study of the genetics underlying facial features finds that East Africans have some unique facial genetics and some that are shared with Europeans. The findings add to our understanding of how genetics shape the human face.

One would think this would be the final nail in the coffin of the "caucasoid facial form" theory and the entailing North African and East African Caucasoids arguments but then again there are Euronuts who still parrot Coonian racial theories.

Unfortunately, they'll still insist that the North African form is entirely the product of Eurasian back-migrations rather than having roots in the region's aboriginal Black populations.
If only we could get aDNA from that Hofmeyr specimen from South Africa 36 kya. IIRC, that skull had "Eurasian" affinities rather than modern equatorial ones. Of course, the Euros would probably claim that one represents a Eurasian back-migration too!

^ The Pleistocene Hofmeyr and his North African/Egyptian contemporary Nazlet Khater who looked Sub-Saharan/Negroid is another issue that deserves a thread on its own.
But before the genetics, you had anthropologists like Jean Hiernaux, the late C. Loring Brace, Cavilli Sforza, S. O. Y. Keita, and others who questioned the "Caucasoid" ancestry or admixture theory based on the simple fact that despite their "caucasoid" facial form East Africans of the Horn as well as North Africans still retain dark (black) pigmentation and supra-tropical body builds like Sub-Saharans.
She (Iman) was one of the first generation of high-profile black supermodels and although attitudes have changed since 1975, she insists that the fashion industry is inherently racist. Then, she was treated as some kind of exotic alien. 'Oh, you're so beautiful,' was one comment, 'you must be half-white.' Her reply? 'I don't have a drop of white blood in me. I'm beautiful because I am black and I am Somali.'
The so-called 'Hamites' as in black-skinned Caucasians has been disputed for over a century and with the advent of genetics became debunked, and now more than ever. But that doesn't stop the Euronuts from repeating their lies.

^ Another thing I should add is just as the Eurocentrics are wrong about their Hamitic "Caucasoid" views, Afrocentrics are also wrong about Jean Hiernaux's hypothesis of "elongated Africans" wherein Africans with elongated features are that way due to simple adaptation. Genetics shows the clear disparity in craniofacial formation between stereotypical SS West and Central Africans vs North and Northeast Africans. But unlike the Euronuts who attribute this difference in narrow types to Eurasians the evidence suggests they are just as indigenous to the African continent as the broad typology.
