This is just like a colossal head on disply in the British Museum. Although on display as Amenhotep III, I always believed it to be Thutmose III, but looking at this colossal I have to say they are almost identical. This is a fantastic bust, I wonder why some of his busts look so different...

^ If by "southern Sudanese" you mean wide, since when has such a nose shape been uncommon in Egypt?? The similar can be said about the rest of the face which is round and not elongated or the lips which look more everted.
The point is that this statue belongs to Amenhotep III. Its features are the exact same as other statues belonging to that king.
