Racist are obsessed with IQ, because they don't know that the average IQ only tells us what a person has learned in school. These folks believe IQ tells us about the "intelligence" of the individual.
An IQ tells us very little about a persons societal intelligence (the things we need to know to make it in society in relationships, jobs and etc.).

Not surprisingly, the whole topic of the association between 'race' and IQ has been discussed numerous times on this board (Although I don't feel like looking through the archives to provide the links).
First of all there is no such thing as 'race', since phenotypic diversity does not correspond to a certain lineage etc.
And second, there are many factors that determine 'IQ', especially learning environment. The "Bell Curve" has been debunked by various scientists and even laymen already. Note that blacks from Africa are taking up many 'high intellect' jobs here in the US and even in Europe, and kids of Southeast Asian ancestry have higher highschool dropout rates than blacks and hispanics!
'Race' has nothing to do with it, while environment has everything to do with it.
