El Suspiro Del Moro By Marcelino De uncenta In this picture represents Unceta progress Boabdil, the last king of Granada, into exile with his entourage. The King appears, with turban and robe, on the back of a black Arabian horse richly caparisoned. With this painting the author demuesra his mastery of drawing and modeling chiaroscuro. The graying chromatic breaks with touches of gold and red. Marcelino Unceta introduced this canvas Aragonese Regional Exhibition of 1885 in a gesture of courtesy, as a member of the jury and director of facilities.

From a story of Boabdil Describing one of boabdils swarthy moorish soldiers.
"You are no doubt anxious to see the wonders of The Alhambra so I have arranged for my cousin to take you where you wish to go and to show you what you want to see. We will dine together this evening when you will meet my mother and my close advisers. I bid you good day Don Alonso. It has been interesting to talk with you".With that Boabdil clapped his hands whereupon a tall, swarthy-looking turbaned and scimitered Moorish soldier appeared.
"Please escort Don Alonso back to his quarters", Boabdil said and then continued by saying as he rose from his wicker-chair, "Go with God Don Alonso".

Mayor unchains Moorish king By Isambard Wilkinson in Madrid12:01AM BST 06 Oct 2003 An Andalucian village has won a decade-long battle to change its historic coat-of-arms, which it feared might cause offence by depicting Spain's last Moorish king, Boabdil, chained by the neck. The move to doctor the 500-year-old heraldic crest of the village of Sedella came as Spain is attempting to reconcile itself with its Moorish past. "After 500 years in chains, now it is time to free him," said Francisco Galvez, the village's Socialist mayor. "We do not want to change history but it did not seem normal that every time somebody received a town hall letter they had to see a person chained by the neck." The original image on Sedella's shield came from the crest of the Marquis of Comares. The first marquis was at the Battle of Lucena in 1483 when Boabdil was taken prisoner. In return for his freedom, Boabdil secretly swore allegiance to King Ferdinand. Granada, the last Moorish bastion, fell in 1492. In July Spanish soldiers in Iraq were issued with badges showing the Cross of St James, who is popularly known as the "Killer of Moors".
