Despite the cultural diffrence, Domestic violnce occure across all cultures. according to Women's aid (charitable orgnsiation in the UK) two womne die every week at the hand of parnter!!
howvere, i do personally tend to belive that some Arab men or Muslims in general that they do use abuse more than others. why i am climing that ?
firts becuase some have interpreted some veruse of the quran to suite themselves.
secondly, if the women is not educted and knowelgable regarding her husband relsgion it will be difficult to challange him?
therefore, any womne from any culture who is subjected to any fourm of abuse my only advics:
MAKE A SAFETY PLAN TO GET AWAY ON TIME DONT BLAM YOUSELF IS NOT YOUR FAULT DONT THINK YOU CAN CHANGE HIM

first - a word "all" cant be use for the people there aren't place or country have same kind of people , so no way to think that Egyptian man the same , or why we all not the same like doctor ahmed zoual ??
sound - you must see why heats you , and if the problem because he is Egyptian or this problem can be with any other nationality ?? , problems between people coming from those people only not the nationalities or religions , think maybe it was reason in his life to marry you and then he got it , or you cannot change enough to get his imagination ,
as you look far out side of your problem circle as your problem circle will be more width
