So what is the difference between a bedouin and a nubian, is it cultural, geographical, both, neither? What is the typical religions of both of these groups? Is it Islam or something else? I am trying to be informed, thank you for your kind replies.

Bedouins are Arabic speaking nomadic groups that live around the Sinai and Western Desert. The difference is that Nubians are indigenous Northeastern African people;while Bedouins have came to Egypt since the time of 640 AD and later during the Fatimid they were brought in and settled by the caliphate. Although, many Bedouins have absorbed Egyptians and some have settled alongside the Fellahin[rural Egyptian farmers]. Some Bedouin groups like the Ababda are really just Arabized Beja people.
Also the Nubians tend to be more sedentary that live off cultivation.
Nubians and Bedouins are Muslims but in some cases the Nubians still have folk pratices that hint to pre-Islamic times.
I hope this helps.
