Micky So sorry I didn't congratulate you before. I am really thrilled for you & Sabri!!
We are now at the NVC so things are moving for us although a bit slowly. But I did just return from Jordan again so I got to spend some wonderful time with Ammar.
Also to you Doodle, let us know what happens tomorrow. Good Luck. I think I will be congratulating you too!!

tomorrow's not the day. he already went and didn't get it. they want more paperwork so it's still a waiting game but that's ok it's all in God's time. foreign did you file a CR1?

Doodle, Yes the CR1. They just accepted our choice of agent and AOS fee bill pymnt. Actually tho we filed for both the K-3 and the I-130. Got accepted for both at the same time at the end of Oct. They sent the I-129F to the NVC and by that time when we knew a lot more about visa's we had decided to go for the immigrant visa. Then we had to send in the I-824 to the Uscis but luckily I asked for it to be expedited based on Uscis error and they agreed and approved the I-824 within 4 weeks of asking for the expedited request. His I-129 interview was March 6th but of course he did not go. A lot of people I am sure wouldn't understand our decision to change our visa choice but we have good reasons and if we knew then what we know now we never would have bothered with the I-129. But all in all it was a good choice and we lost less than 90 days by changing to the CR1. But we got very lucky in getting the I-824 approved so fast. Anyway, he will get here this year I am sure. Sorry I misunderstood about your hubby, but I am sure you two don't have much longer to wait now. Didn't mean to go off topic everyone...
