If you liked sixth Sense or Dead Zone you should love medium. I approached this series with caution initially because I did not want to see the ghost of the week. However by the 2nd episode I was fully immersed in Medium's own style. It's a mixture of thriller, mystery, suspense, Hitchcock Sixth Sense and Dead Zone with a family that actually represents the way a real family is they argue, disagree, fight yet loves each other. There are no wasted moments in medium and every episode was enjoyable. Alison Dubois (Patricia Arquette) the star has psychic abilities by touching someone, dreaming, or being to close to something that that person has touched in some way. Alison has accepted that when this paranormal happens her job is to pursue the matter to resolution even if it affects her family life or personal beliefs. She cannot be contented till the matter is fully resolved.
