When I was a personal trainer, one of my female clients lost alot of weight in a short amount of time, and more importantly, kept it off with a combination of dieting, nutrition and weight lifting.. The only equipment we used were dumbells, and bench and one of those inflatable exercise balls. Alot of women have a phobia about lifting weights. They think they'll start looking like He-Man if they start pumping iron, which is false.
