The QE 2 left Southampton on her final voyage to Dubai yesterday. She will be calling at Alexandria and am desperately trying to find out when. I use to go and watch her as a little girl with my Dad when we lived near Southampton and used to love to see her when I sailed in the Solent. Really want to go and say a fond goodbye and get some photos, so any info would be great.

The following link says the liner is scheduled to pass the Suez Canal on Nov. 21
" Durch den Suezkanal nach Dubai Die letzte Reise führt die Queen von Southampton über das Mittelmeer in den Nahen Osten. Station machen wird das Schiff unter anderem in Lissabon, Gibraltar, Neapel und Alexandria, bevor es am 21. November den Suezkanal passiert. Am 27. November gehen die Gäste der letzten Fahrt "Queen Elizabeth 2" in Dubai von Bord."
