This non-critical approach is from like 2 decades ago.

At the time I wasn't as critical as at present. Back then
it was well known Josephus was hired by or appeasing
his imperial patron. Now I wonder about Cheremon and
Manetho as 'channeled" via Josephus. How badly did he
blunder? No Egyptian could've ever derive Shepherd
Kings from heqa khasut. Heqa khasut has no word for
shepherd in it. The crock glyph is where 'kings' would
come from.

So ... is there either a Cheremon or Manetho free from Jospehus?

In some ways this sounds akin to fascist media designed to appease those damn Romans + keep many folks confused and adhering to a narrative of deception= critical history smokescreen control neurosis.
