Think Frazer's Golden Bough, Graves' Greek Myths, Patai's Hebrew Myths and that kind of presentation and those analyses of everything from cosmology to eschatology. Sort of in the mold of Jackson's Man, God and Civilization, though not necessarily trying to show any singular unified origin.
I'm not thinking a dump for My-God's-Better-Than-Your-God, one sided diatribes against whatever faith hacks you off, or any kinda bigoted approaches to any people's practices of spirituality. Certainly no prejudices which resign people's cherished belief systems to gutters or cultural appropriation.
Metaphysics and some philosophies akin to a complete way of life are also appropriate subjects. Imbedded 'nationalisms' and the like are fair game too. Criticism, in its academic meaning only, is welcome.
Videos are cool only if you include a breakdown of some kind, even just an index would be fine..
Can't list everything that sinks or swims. We'll see as we go. Let's all push positive vibes, try hard to respect any disagreeing opinions, and avoid personal beef as much as humanly possible.
