Of course there has been plenty covert attacks back and forth between Israel and Iran in a type of not so cold war, so this culmination is no surprise.

The US government has its own problems and our 'aide' is already being spent in Israel. I for one think this should strictly be between Israel and Iran and leave the rest of the world out as some forces want us to go into a WWIII.

I agree with DJ. Neither Iran nor Israel are what I would consider "good guys", so neither deserves our support. It is likely that vast numbers of civilians on both sides (not to mention the whole area between Israel and Iran) are going to die though, and that's the real tragedy.
