Israel criticizes UN for listing ruins near Jericho as belonging to Palestine

Israel criticizes UN vote to list ruins near ancient Jericho as World Heritage Site in Palestine

JERICHO, West Bank (AP) — A U.N. committee voted Sunday to list prehistoric ruins near the ancient West Bank city of Jericho as a World Heritage Site in Palestine, a decision that angered Israel, which controls the territory and does not recognize a Palestinian state.

Jericho is one of the oldest continually inhabited cities on earth, and is in a part of the Israeli-occupied West Bank that is administered by the internationally recognized Palestinian Authority. The listing refers to the Tell es-Sultan archaeological site nearby, which contains prehistoric ruins dating back to the ninth millennium B.C. and is outside the ancient city itself.

The decision was made at a meeting of the U.N. World Heritage Committee in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, under the auspices of the U.N. Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, UNESCO.

While I agree that the modern state of Israel is a Western colonial state founded by Ashkenazi Jews who were communist and either atheists or occultists.

'Palestine' is more of a fake state than Israel because Israel uses Biblical history to legitimize itself existence whereas Yasser Arafat admitted that Palestine does not really exist as nation but as a front to destroy Israel and hegemony. Arafat himself is originally Egyptian but an Arab and thus 'Palestinian' became a synonym for 'Arab' nationalist in the region of Judaea.

In fact you can read a copy of the original Palestine National Charter here.

One minute the Israeli government says they don't mind Palestinians doing peaceful things, the next, their whining about them claiming their heritage. The Israeli government want to have their cake and eat it.

"founded by Ashkenazi Jews who were communist and either atheists or occultists"
Communists who were ok with piggy-backing on Western imperialism, preventing Arabs joining major unions, and pitting Arab and Jewish workers against each other.

"'Palestine' is more of a fake state than Israel because Israel uses Biblical history to legitimize itself existence"
It having some biblical connection in antiquity, which is very much weaponized, does nothing to absolve it in the present.

"Yasser Arafat admitted that Palestine does not really exist as nation but as a front to destroy Israel and hegemony"
And Israel is a Western style front in the Levant.

"Arafat himself is originally Egyptian"
And Bibi's Polish.
