For some reason, whites tend to be remarkably good at turning questionable characters into full fledged heroes in Euro folklore. I live in Holland, and even our former prime minister doesn't shun away from openly showing his admiration for the ''entrepreneurial mentality'' – as he called it – of his folk during the VOC days (Dutch East India Company). Where I’m from, School and street names that are reminiscent of dubious characters from those days are commonplace.

I have to agree with Swenet, look at how Greece is glorified by Hollywood and Classic scholars. What I find funny is that whites try to "erase" anything that might tarnish the image of their "Heros". For instance in the movie 300 based off the horrible cartoons of Frank Miller and over rated artist IMO, Leonidas made a comment about the Athenians being "Boy Lovers" in an attempt to make the Spartans Super Macho Men with Beautiful full breasted wives. When in reaity the Spartans were more into Homosexuality than even the Athenians.
Sadly thanks to the popularity of Hollywood, it seems non whites are falling victims. I just got into a debate with 2 hispanics over the prevelent Homosexuality of the Spartans, I already got into it with 2 black guys, whats funny is the black dudes accused me of being Homosexual for stating the truth about the Spartans and yet they champion a movie with men running around in Lioncloths...go figure.

The writer of that comic was actually called out over this. LOL. His response was that his fictional character was being a hypocrite. While he is correct that such blatent hypocrisy is common among us humans, I'm not really sure if he was not just saving face when he said that. I'd have to read his comics, which I haven't done yet.

I don't think the Crows were "Racist" they were sterotypes but I don't see how it is racist esp. when Dumbo had nothing but Animals in the film.
Also I don't see the big deal about the Alladin song, esp. considering when one of the most famous Arabic stories is "Ali Baba and the 10,000 Theives" or Arabian Nights a story about a Husband who is going to kill his cheating wife but postpones because she tells him a story.
