Looking for new and more innovative ways to jazz up boring old iPhones and the run-of-the-mill coloured covers, a company has come up with a gastronomical way to dress up your iPhone -by making them look like food.
The cases feature incredibly realistic plastic versions of popular dishes from bacon and eggs to sushi to chocolate.

The covers are said to be the biggest craze in Japan, where they were launched, and are already proving popular in other parts of the world.
iPhone users bored with regular phone cases are switching to the iMeshi covers in droves, just for how realistic and wacky they look.
The covers are themed around Japanese-style cuisine and the plastic food samples that local restaurants keep in their windows to attract customers.
Just slip it on your iPhone 4 and an instant culinary transformation takes place.
There is only one problem with the covers, they have no hole for where the camera lens is so anyone who wants to take a photograph on their iPhone will have to take the cover off.

Spokesman for Strapya -the Japanese company who came up with the concept and designs the covers -James Sweatman said: 'The company didn't want to compromise the realism of the cases by placing a big lens hole on a beautifully constructed bento or sushi replica iPhone case.'
The handmade items are available for the iPhone 4 at around $50 for each. There are a range of 'menu options' to choose from and fans can even change their covers depending on which meal time it is.
