CAIRO, Nov. 11 (Xinhua) -- Egypt has registered the sixth A/H1N1 flu death case in the country, Al-Ahram daily reported on Wednesday.

A 24-year-old pregnant woman from Sharqia governorate died of A/H1N1 virus in the hospital on Tuesday night, the report said.

The woman returned from Italy on Oct. 25 and was hospitalized on Nov. 5, according to the report.

The Egyptian Ministry of Health said that the previous case -- a school student -- died from wrong medicine, not of flu, so the pregnant woman is the sixth death case.

Up till now, the ministry has reported more than 1,800 cases of the novel flu in the most populous Arab country.

Egypt reported its first A/H1N1 flu case on June 2, a 12-year- old Egyptian-American girl coming from the United States via the Netherlands.

WRONG MEDICINE????

That really is ridiculous. Can the Egyptians please make up their mind what exactly the cause of death of the 9-year-old boy from Helwan was??? [Confused]

I totally agree with the 9 years old kid, but it was on Tv that his parents panicked and rushed to a Dr who gave him a wrong medicine. DISGRACE !!!

six dead cases is fairly good number i think.
